We’re very proud to share that Aspiring Homes founder Mark Palmer has been named the 2026 Master Builders Wide Bay Burnett Rising Star Award winner.
Mark received the award at the Master Builders Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards, held in Bundaberg on Saturday, 22 August. The Rising Star Award recognises individuals making their mark on Queensland’s building and construction industry, and for Mark, the award is particularly meaningful after more than 25 years working in the industry.
Master Builders recognised Mark for his passion for quality and safety, and a level of finish that sets his work apart. Those principles have been at the heart of Aspiring Homes since Mark founded the business. Every home we build receives the same hands-on attention to detail, from the early planning stages through to the final finish. For Mark, building well has never simply been about meeting a standard - it’s about taking pride in the workmanship and delivering a home our clients can be proud of too.
A proud moment for Aspiring Homes
Aspiring Homes may be a relatively young building company, but Mark brings decades of practical building experience to every project. Creating Aspiring Homes gave him the opportunity to build homes the way he believes they should be built: with a strong focus on workmanship, communication, safety and attention to detail.
Winning the Rising Star Award is wonderful recognition of that approach, and of the work that has gone into establishing Aspiring Homes here in the Wide Bay region. It also wouldn’t be possible without the trades, suppliers, team members and clients who have supported Aspiring Homes along the way. We’re very grateful to everyone who has played a part. Most of all, we’re incredibly proud of Mark.
